Bye Bye Ethel!
This week we say goodbye to Britain’s oldest person Ethel Lang who was the last living person to be born under Queen Victoria’s reign. Last year Ethel, from South Yorkshire, celebrated her 114th birthday with family and friends, who say she loved to dance, cook, watch snooker and sew.
LEGO Misses Out on Oscars
Oscar nominations are in and although the LEGO Movie was the biggest selling film in the UK last year, it has NOT been nominated for an Oscar! The song 'Everything is Awesome' from the film did not get nomindated for best original song though so still a chance for a win!
Nominations for best animated film were the Boxtrolls, How to Train your Dragon 2, Big Hero 6, The Tale of the Princess Kaguya and Song of the Sea.
