Safety At Home

Knowing how to keep safe whilst you are at home is important!

Check out this list of things for you to think about:

Never let anyone into your house if you do not know who they are. When you have a visitor, a parent or carer should open the door.

Do you know how to use your telephone at home? If not, it is a good idea to ask someone to show you how it works. It is always handy to know how to dial '999' for an ambulance or for the police incase you ever have an emergency.

If you want to play outside,  make sure you ask your parent or carer if this is okay. Agree with them how long you can stay out for and then stick to this time, even if your friends try to pressure you into staying out later.

Make sure that if you are playing outside, you are in an area which is safe. Always tell your parent or carer where you are going. If they do not think it is safe, you should not go there.
