We are sure many of you are excited to begin your annual Big School Birdwatch this month getting ready to set up bird feeders, turning classrooms into bird hides and excitedly getting into position, to watch and count the birds in your school grounds!

So1018769 look out for over 500 different bird species that you may see in your playground this month! Last year the most popular bird that was seen was the blackbird for the ninth year in a row!

The Big Schools Birdwatch has been running for 16 years and is very important as it raises awareness on how we can help to look after and help create homes for many birds around the UK!
